Here at Shane Brown Performance Horses we believe that it not only takes a dynamic trainer and an exceptional assistant trainer to make a successful business, it also takes a winning team of family support and incredible clientele.  Without all of these individual ingredients we simply wouldn’t be here!  We share our success and our determination with the finest selection of non-pros and the most supportive family in the state!  Take a look and learn a bit about the staff here and you will see why our team is as successful as it is, and remember - There is always room for one more!

Shane Brown has been working in the horse industry since his early teens.  He began his career under Troy Heikes and moved out on his own after more than 6 years at Pine Run Ranch.  He is driven both by the love of reining and his desire to teach others.  His dedication and work ethic as well as his gentle love of horses has propelled him to such successes as NRHA Futurity Intermediate Finalist, AQHA World Show Finalist, an APHA World Show Championship, multiple AQHA World Show Qualifiers and myriad Regional Championships.  Shane is an incredible non-pro coach who cares about educating both horse and rider using time tested techniques based in French dressage and working ranch horse methods.  His students are pushed to compete and are both loyal and driven to success under his direction.  He never takes for granted that his barn runs on their dedication and hard work as much as his own.  Shane works alongside his wife, Stacey, who runs the office and client administration services, as well as his assistant trainer, Emily Emerson and second  assistant, Sarah Dahl.

Emily has been enjoying her work as assistant trainer alongside Shane Brown since early 2008 and has become an invaluable asset to both client and trainer.  Having grown up in the northern regions of Montana, her work ethic is as exceptional as her skill level.  She is a consummate professional  and a formidable competitor.  She too has shown early success in the show pen with multiple Rookie Pro championships at regional shows on the Front Range.

Sarah has recently joined the ranks of SBPH and is doing wonderfully in the second assistant position.  Graduate of Meredith Manor International Equestrian Center she has a love of horses and a patience that makes her an asset to the barn and a pleasure to work with.  Make sure you say hello the next time you are in!
